How We Go to School

How do you get to school? Every morning, many children go to school! There are different ways for them to travel.

Some children leave home at about ten to eight (7:50). They go to school in a car. In the car, a girl listens to music and looks at her homework again. Sometimes, they are waiting at the traffic jam. In big cities like London, they can see places like the River Thames and Tower Bridge. You can see many vehicles, like cars, vans, and buses.

Another child, Eric, leaves at half past six (6:30) in the morning. He goes to the underground station. He gets to the station at quarter past eight (8:15). The train is on time, which is good! Some children ride bikes to school. Deepal’s friends have bikes and ride them every day!

Everyone arrives at school on time. Are they happy? Yes, they are happy to see their friends and begin their school day!
