Example: Miguel plays his guitar on the Day of the Dead.

Example: Something magical happens when he plays the guitar.
🌌 Land of the Dead – A magical world where the dead live in the movie.
Example: He goes to the Land of the Dead with his dog.

👻 disappear – To slowly go away or not be seen anymore.
Example: Miguel starts to disappear in the Land of the Dead.
🦴 skeleton – A body with only bones and no skin.
Example: Miguel meets many skeletons in the Land of the Dead.
🤧 allergic – When something (like dust or food) makes someone sneeze or feel sick.
Example: One skeleton is allergic and sneezes a lot!
👴 great-great-grandfather – The father of your great-grandparent.
Example: Miguel looks for his great-great-grandfather in the Land of the Dead.
Miguel is a young boy who loves music. He has a guitar. Right now, his grandmother is scolding him because he is playing it! But the boy always loves the music! His grandfather lives home with his guitar.
Miguel doesn’t surrender his dream to play music. He is deciding to play his guitar on the Day of the Dead. Then, something magical happens! He is going to the Land of the Dead. His dog, Dante, is with him. The dog is scared sometimes, but he is staying by Miguel’s side.
Miguel is feeling very scared at first. He thinks it’s a dream, but it is not a dream! He is walking in the world of the dead. His family in the living world is looking for him every day. Miguel is disappearing slowly because he is in the Land of the Dead.
He is looking for his great-great-grandfather there. He is meeting many skeletons! The skeleton is allergic, he is sneezing a lot! Miguel finds his great-great-grandfather. He loves his family very much. Does he bring music back to his home? Yes, he does! He is bringing music and love to his family now.
