Position of Adjectives

Adjectives in English are usually placed in two main spots. The most common is before the noun (a big house), which is called the attributive position. The other is after a linking verb (be, seem, look) in the predicative position (The house is big). When multiple adjectives are used, they typically follow a specific order: opinion, size, age, shape, color, origin, material, and purpose.
