Carla and Diego Catching Up
Carla: You always look so healthy, Diego. What’s your secret?
Diego: Well, I try to eat well and exercise. If I (not / eat) breakfast every morning, I (feel) tired before lunch.
Carla: I know what you mean. I skip breakfast all the time! But I’m trying to be more organized. If I (wake up) earlier, I (have) time to prepare something.
Diego: That’s true. It’s all about habits. If people (sleep) well and (drink) water, they usually feel better.
Carla: You’re right. Anyway, how’s work? You look a bit stressed.
Diego: Yeah… I missed a big project deadline last month. If I (plan) my time better, I (not / lose) that client.
Carla: Oh no! What happened?
Diego: Honestly, I was too confident. If I (start) earlier, I (finish) everything on time. But I didn’t.
Carla: That’s tough. If I (be) you, I (take) a short break now.
Diego: Maybe I will. If things (get) worse, I (talk) to my boss about it.
Carla: That’s smart. But remember, if you (not / rest), you (burn out) sooner or later.
Diego: You’re right! And if I (burn out), I (regret) not taking care of myself.
