Remember: Third Conditional = If + had + past participle, would have + past participle

Question 1
❌ If I studied harder, I would have passed the exam.
Correct Answer: a) If I had studied harder, I would have passed the exam.
Third conditional needs "had + past participle" in the if-clause. Use "had studied", not "studied".
Question 2
❌ If she would have left earlier, she wouldn't miss the train.
Correct Answer: a) If she had left earlier, she wouldn't have missed the train.
Never use "would have" in the if-clause. Use "had left". Main clause needs "wouldn't have missed".
Question 3
❌ If they had practice more, they would have won the match.
Correct Answer: b) If they had practiced more, they would have won the match.
Need past participle "practiced", not base form "practice". Use "had practiced".
Question 4
❌ I would pass the test if I had studied last night.
Correct Answer: a) I would have passed the test if I had studied last night.
Main clause needs "would have + past participle". Use "would have passed", not "would pass".
Question 5
❌ If my phone didn't die, I would have called you yesterday.
Correct Answer: a) If my phone hadn't died, I would have called you yesterday.
Use "hadn't + past participle" in negative if-clause. Use "hadn't died", not "didn't die".
Question 6
❌ If the bus arrived on time, we would have gotten to the airport earlier.
Correct Answer: a) If the bus had arrived on time, we would have gotten to the airport earlier.
Past simple "arrived" is wrong for third conditional. Use "had arrived".
Question 7
❌ She would finished her project if she had more time.
Correct Answer: b) She would have finished her project if she had had more time.
Main clause needs "would have + past participle". If-clause needs "had had" (past perfect of "have").
Question 8
❌ If he studied medicine, he would have become a doctor.
Correct Answer: a) If he had studied medicine, he would have become a doctor.
If-clause needs past perfect. Use "had studied", not past simple "studied".
Question 9
❌ I would told you the truth if you asked me yesterday.
Correct Answer: a) I would have told you the truth if you had asked me yesterday.
Both clauses wrong. Main clause: "would have told". If-clause: "had asked".
Question 10
❌ If we had saved money, we would buy a new car last year.
Correct Answer: a) If we had saved money, we would have bought a new car last year.
